About the Journal

The journal Educação & Formação is linked to the Graduate Programs in Education at the State University of Ceará and was created in January 2016 to publish original and unpublished articles from the results of academic research in the field of Education. Its mission is to promote exchange and debate in the national and international educational field, with a focus on the training of students and teachers in formal education contexts. The target audience for Revista Educação & Formação is researchers in the field of education, teachers in basic and higher education, postgraduate students and other professionals interested in these topics.

Call for papers for the 2026 dossier: Educational innovation in higher education

2025-09-12

With the aim of strengthening international communication in Education & Training and increasing the contribution of international authors and readers, we have named this dossier: Educational innovation in higher education.

This dossier invites articles that discuss experiences, research, and reflections on educational innovation in higher education. The goal is to bring together contributions that analyze how institutions, teachers, and students have incorporated pedagogical, technological, and organizational approaches that promote meaningful, inclusive, and sustainable learning.

Submission deadline: December 30, 2025.
