The study aimed to identify the student’s perception about the practices and evaluation instruments in the Physical Education classes of a full time high school in the city of Iguatu/CE. The sample consisted of 73 students, 40 (54.8%) males and 33 (45.2%) females, with an average age of 16.81 (+ 1.20). A questionnaire was applied for data collection, and the analyses were performed through the SPSS 20 Software. Based on the findings, it is possible to point out that the participating students agree with the varieties of assessment methodologies used in Physical Education classes. However, students disagree with the use of some evaluative tools such as "oral papers", "oral tests" and "written tests".
