The aim of this research was to evaluate the perspective on the objectives and content of school physical education in high school for teachers who are in effective discipline rules in high schools in the municipalities of the Canindé region, Ceará. To this end, we carried out an exploratory study, with a quantitative and qualitative approach, with 26 teachers. Data were collected from an adapted questionnaire on teaching-learning perspectives in school physical education. Software R. was used for data treatment and statistical analysis. The results indicate that the teaching-learning objectives related to health have greater correspondence while cultural manifestations, since the contents that predominate in classes are on a large scale, body knowledge, theoretical classes and sport based on the perception of teachers. On the other hand, other contents such as fights and dances are less present in the proposals.
