This article refers to an excerpt from the Master's dissertation “The History of Mathematics: Interdisciplinarity and Playful-Pedagogical Learning in Mathematics”, defended in the PPGECM - Program of UEPB in 2019. Our objective was to analyze how the use of activities of interdisciplinary and ludic-pedagogical nature, from the History of Mathematics can contribute to the improvement of learning in Mathematics. The research carried out was of a qualitative approach whose focus is the individual with all his complexity and his insertion with the socio-cultural environment. For its development we use as an instrument of analysis: interviews, questionnaires and filming. The practice of Interdisciplinarity and the History of Mathematics begins to emerge even though timidly in the classroom and that the use of legends of a historical character, associated with playfulness, could promote a greater Motivation in the learning of Mathematics, collaborating in overcoming a Eurocentric vision of this science.
