O dossiê que ora apresentamos reúne parte significativa da produção acadêmica do V Workshop em Linguística Textual, realizado em 2024 e dedicado à memória da Professora Doutora Mônica Magalhães Cavalcante. Pioneira e liderança na constituição da Linguística Textual brasileira contemporânea, Mônica nos legou não apenas um sólido arcabouço teórico metodológico, mas também uma concepção profundamente ética e coletiva da prática científica. Este volume é, assim, expressão de continuidade e de homenagem: continuidade das pesquisas e reflexões que ela impulsionou; homenagem à sua trajetória brilhante e generosa.
