Abstract

This research aims to investigate the socio-spatial profile of the public at the Cego Aderaldo House of Knowledge in 2023. Using the Qualitative Survey method, the methodological path started with a descriptive survey, which used bibliographical research to identify key concepts in order to compose the theoretical framework on cultural geography, cultural spaces and non-formal education institutions, the concept of place and socio-spatiality. To this end, two structured questionnaires were administered to the CSCA coordinators with subjective questions, and to the potential public living in outlying neighborhoods with objective questions. The conclusion is that drawing up a socio-spatial profile of the facility is a challenge, because its public is remarkably diverse.
