Artist of this edition

Nathalie Nicolas, French artist and curator, lives in Berlin and Canoa Quebrada, Ceará, having studied at the Escola de Belas Artes and the Academie Charpentier, both in Paris, and at the Akademie für Malerei, in Berlin. He has held exhibitions in France, Germany and, recently, in Brazil, trying to attract audiences that are not used to visiting museums with his works of art. His interest is to produce meetings and collaborations between cultural and social groups. In Aracati, he invited groups of artists from the region and abroad to meet and exhibit at the Francisca Clotilde Theater Gallery, at the Jaguaribano Historical Museum, at the Faculdade do Vale do Jaguaribe, at the Unijaguaribe University. He accepted the invitation of the Secretary of Culture of Aracati to organize the inaugural show of the new “Espaço das Artes CE” with the KRAFT collective from Fortaleza. Since 2021, he has been curator of Artistic Projects for Instituto Vale Jaguaribe and has participated in group exhibitions at the UFC Museum of Art.
