Abstract

Considering the context of remote education, the objective of this essay is to reflect on the new forms of work organization in the educational scope, specifically dealing with public and private instances here understood as social and historically constituted spaces: the house / home, the school / a classroom. I take as well-known theoretical foundations of the Pedagogy of Multiliteracies, proposed by the New London Group (1996), about the necessary education for students in a globalized world and in constant technological transformation, to give attention to the world of the teacher's work, casting a look at the implications of the insertion of technologies as a work tool in the educational context, resulting from the adoption of remote education. Exploring the meanings of the public and private opposition pair, I would like to highlight, as a conclusion, that the rupture of the boundaries of these two instances are causing the uberization of teaching work with the self-financing of resources to teach classes, the loss of private space (home and classroom) and autonomy with the monitoring of teaching staff in remote education.
