Internationalization in the Federal Technological Network
An analysis of the actions foreseen in the internationalization policy of the Federal Institute of São Paulo

Faced with the processes of integration and closer contact among peoples, especially during the Sars-Cov 19 pandemic, it is essential to understand the role of internationalization in the scope of public education. In this work, we turn our gaze to the internationalization actions explained in the document that guides its process: the Internationalization Policy, specifically in the context of the Federal Network of Technological Education in Brazil, which have stood out in the national and international scenario, fulfilling an important role for the development of professional education in the country. The objective of this article is to present the results of the analysis of the Internationalization Policy of the IFSP (Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo), which was carried out based on the theoretical assumptions that deal with comprehensive internationalization (HUDZIK, 2011) and in the light of the adapted definition of internationalization proposed by the research group GPLIES (Research Group on Linguistic Policies and Internationalization of Higher Education), according to which “internationalization in Education is an articulated movement (...) that seeks to promote the sharing of ideas , cultures, innovative practices, (...) in order to allow a decolonial and critical positioning, repositioning local demands in the face of the need for insertion in an international context".
