Abstract

This paper describes the onto-epistemological and political commitments between Linguistics and the Cybernetic Project in the field of human sciences and in the technopolitical developments of digital capitalism. To this end, it draws theoretically-methodologically from symmetrical anthropology (LATOUR, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2016 AND 2017; DOMENECH; TIRADO, 1998) and the principle of generalized symmetry (CALLON, 1986; LATOUR; WOOLGAR, 1997) to launch on the Linguistics discipline a critical look, in seeking to describe it as a socio-technical network resulting from compositions, assemblages, interests between intra- and extra-scientific courses of action. With the original rescue of the military and political dimension of Cybernetics, we are faced with the mathematization of language and communication as that which brings it closer to Linguistics or vice-versa, with the consequent project of controlling performativity and its logic of desubjectivation of the other. Finally, this analysis raises the question about ongoing actions, in Linguistics or outside it, that denote resistance to refined human exploration through language and interaction, in digital technologies.

Emanoel Pedro Martins Gomes, Universidade Estadual do Piauí (UESPI)

Doutor (2018) e Mestre (2013) em Linguística Aplicada pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Linguística Aplicada (PosLA) da Universidade Estadual do Ceará (UECE). Líder do Grupo de Pesquisa Núcleo de Estudos Críticos do Discurso e a Teoria Ator-Rede (NECTAR), ligado ao Centro de Ciências Humanas e Letras da Universidade Estadual do Piauí (UESPI), e Coordenador da Linha de Pesquisa Interinstitucional "Neoliberalismo e subjetividade: discursos e práticas da gestão de si?, com membros pesquisadores da UESPI, IFCE e IFPE. Ainda é membro pesquisador do Grupo PRAGMACULT - Pragmática Cultural, Linguagem e Interdisciplinaridade (ou NIPRA - Núcleo Interdisciplinar de Estudos em Pragmática), vinculado ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Linguística Aplicada (PosLA), da UECE. Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: Science Studies/Estudos Científicos; Antropologia das Ciências; Neoliberalismo; Biotecnocapitalismo; Práticas Tecnopolíticas do Antropoceno; Cosmopolíticas e Tecnodiversidades no Capitaloceno; Interfaces entre Teorias Linguísticas, Teorias da Comunicação, Big Tech e Algoritimização; Teorias do Discurso; Análise do Discurso Crítica; Filosofia da Linguagem; Pós-Marxismo; e Teoria Política e Social Crítica.
