Gardevânia Farias, photographer and graduated in history, since 1992, has directed her work towards the historicity of Iguatu, city where she was born. Author of the book: “The Concise Inventory of the Architectural and Historical Patrimony of Iguatu” (2011) she, has several researches and several photographic exhibitions of evidence on the patrimonial, historical and architectural potential of Iguatu. In 2011, he received an invitation from the Italian consultant, in Fortaleza, to photograph architecture and urbanism in the cities of northern Italy, which would open an exhibition with the objective of showing a Brazilian and feminine look on the daily life of Lombardy, to be exposed in Italian language schools in Ceará. The photos shown here are part of this work, which seeks or enhances black and white with small colored details as escape points to attention. She is currently director of the Historical and Cultural Museum of Iguatu.
