This is an exercise that intends to deal simultaneously and in its complexity with the relations of continuity and discontinuity of the religious missionization throughout history. In this article, particular attention is given to Christian missionization and the permanence and diversification of religious missionization in contemporary world. Its articulation with the
so-called process of globalization in its multiple dimensions, mainly in the ancient “Third World”, is particularly focused.
