Ecofeminism and family agriculture in Latin America

Abstract

Poverty, inequality, gender violence, and exploitation of nature are issues raised by social movements and
that societies seek to confront. This
paper discusses the ecofeminist vision
in the strengthening of family farming
and sustainable development in Latin
America, highlighting the importance
of rural women empowerment through the case study of the Polochic zone in Guatemala.

Pesquisadora de Direito Internacional e Humanos do Grupo de Estudos em Direito e Assuntos Internacionais da Universidade Federal do Ceará (GEDAIUFC). Membro do Corpo Editorial da Revista Dizer (UFC).
