Hunger and obesity
remain today the major global
problems associated with food,
exacerbated by trends toward the
privatization of the commons that
enable the reproduction of life (water,
seeds, and land). Agroecology is a
path nurtured by global movements
and local experiences, which calls for
a horizon in which territories regain
control over their food systems.
