This study aims to explore certain enunciative and verbo-iconic aspects present in attempts at enunciative erasure in posts and comments on the social network X, in discussions about the Bill (PL) proposed by Congressman Sóstenes Cavalcante against legal abortion in Brazil. The research, therefore, seeks to discuss argumentative and discursive uses of some forms of enunciative erasure, especially concerning the management of points of view in this environment. We problematize the role of anonymity as a discursive tool and its impact on the dynamics of interaction in digital spaces. The study is theoretically grounded in the works of Rabatel (2017), Adam (2020), Adam and Gilles Lugrin (2006/2007), Marques (2022), Cavalcante et al. (2022), among other authors who discuss forms of enunciative erasure in various socio-discursive situations or in relation to text studies. Methodologically, the research adopts a descriptive and interpretative approach, using screenshots of posts made on the profile of then-Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and related comments. The analysis results reveal a particular use of anonymity, employed both as a tool for attack and as a marker of ideological positioning on this social network.
