The text discusses the importance of considering social interactions and power relations when analyzing the evolution of technologies and their sociotechnical implications. It criticizes the mystification of Artificial Intelligence promoted by the marketing of large companies and highlights the need to understand algorithmic systems and their economic, political, and ideological influences. The text identifies technical alienation and solutionism as elements that limit the understanding of technologies and proposes a critical and proactive approach to construct other technologies that meet the needs and worldviews of societies.
