Call for papers Thematic Issue: Climate Change, Agroecology and Food Sovereignty in the Global South
The proposal of the edition articulates two central objectives. The first is to foster academic, social, and political debate in relation to contemporary processes of appropriation and expropriation of territories of the Global South, caused by the reconfiguration of capitalism in the twenty-first century and its impacts on the deepening of the climate and socio-environmental crisis. The second is to present, from the perspective of the struggles of Indigenous Peoples and Agrarian Movements, as well as other socio-territorial movements, socio-ecological critiques and proposals for concrete processes to confront the climate emergency and the defense of territory, with emphasis on agroecology.
