How does the history
of land occupation in the Vale do
Iguape, in Cachoeira, Bahia, influence
food production and land structure?
What is the impact of the absence of
land regularization on environmental
conservation? This article explores the
incorporation of new elements into
scientific research and the adoption
of knowledge related to the socioenvironmental
and land tenure aspects
of land use. It proposes an agroecological
approach as a strategy to climate change.
