Impacts of remote teaching on municipal basic education in Crato-CE

The investigation discusses the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on remote teaching on the daily school life of education professionals in the municipal network of Crato-CE. The framework was based on studies by Arroyo (2003), Libâneo (2011), Kenski (2012) and Silva & Silva (2021). Methodologically, a qualitative approach was adopted, with bibliographic analysis of official and normative documents. As a result, we realized that Covid-19 caused several impacts on education due to the suspension of face-to-face classes, with emphasis on the lack of technological resources, leaving out a large social segment contributing to the expansion of educational inequalities. Given the scenario, it is urgent to think about public policies aimed at education, with the aim of promoting quality education. However, it is necessary to emphasize that the responsibility for the educational deficit does not lie solely with teachers, but rather with a series of socioeconomic factors that influence the gaps that weaken the educational sphere.
