Understanding the paths taken by the Armed Forces and their
members during the period of the New Republic is a fundamental piece to un tie the knots of the current political situation.
This article seeks to recover this history, having as a starting point the participation in the current constituent until the current government. Thus, we seek to
reveal which were the mechanisms of ideological and identity maintenance that allowed the organized return of the
military to the political scene.
