The teaching experience reported below is an analysis of the experiences of undergraduate students of the Undergraduate Degree in History of the Federal University of the Southern Frontier, as scholars of the Institutional Program of the Initiation to Teaching Scholarship (PIBID). The PIBID is the practice that on many occasions precedes the internship inserting the student in the school environment qualifying its formation. The discussion is about the impact of the experience of insertion in the school space through the projects developed by the History subproject at the School of Basic Education Valesca Carmen Reschke Parizotto in Chapecó - SC. With the results obtained, it is possible to verify that direct contact with students of basic education provides experience in relation to the school environment, allowing the analysis of theories about didactics and history teaching, as well as the socialization of pedagogical practices.
