Atualmente é professor adjunto da Faculdade de Educação de Itapipoca da Universidade Estadual do Ceará - FACEDI/UECE, professor do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Estadual do Ceará - PPGE/UECE, professor do Mestrado Acadêmico em Serviço Social, Trabalho e Questão Social da Universidade Estadual do Ceará - MASS/UECE, membro do conselho editorial da Revista Outubro(São Paulo) (ISSN 1516-6333) e Coordenador-geral do Instituto de Estudos e Pesquisas do Movimento Operário. Líder do Grupo de Pesquisa Ontologia do Ser Social, História, Educação e Emancipação Humana (GPOSSHE).
