The article proposes analytical experimentation in the articulation of the concepts of social cartography (Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari) and imagined communities (Benedict Anderson). The aim is to problematize the formal disciplinary boundaries, both epistemological and methodological, that demarcate studies on the idea of nation when guided by the principle of the State and its territories (geographical, historical, sociopolitical, scientific, etc.).
