What do brazilian militaries say when they talk about Africa?

This paper seeks to understand the implication of “Africa” in the ideational production of the Brazilian Armed Forces through an examination of essays developed by members of Army and Navy Schools between 2001 and 2020. The research highlights possible divergences of interpretation among both forces and multiple strategic emphases about the region.
