This paper aims to understand how youth, involved in collective cultural practices of re-existence, perceive the actions of agents of the Special Operations Group of the Municipal Guard deployed in the Tower of Community Observation located in the São Cristóvão neighborhood, which is part of the 'Greater Jangurussu' area, in the southeastern zone of the city of Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil. These forces integrate the Municipal Urban Protection Plan, known as PMPU, from the acronym in Portuguese.
