Abstract

The article aims to analyze the need to create a school subject for MCE, based on the conference “Freedom and Democracy”, presented by General Moacir Araujo Lopes in 1968. It also discussed the representation of communism in
society in general and specifically for the military. In summary, it is  understood  that the MCE is symptomatic of the militarization of the social structure and it is evidenced that the project of
military repression was beyond the
development of repression against the guerrilla.
