Chinese oil geopolitics in Ecuador and in the Andean area

Chinese economic development held on the power of the State with respect to the population is threatened by the absence of oil, this causes that the Chinese State seeks to control sources of oil in countries such as Ecuador. In Ecuador, all oil fields have presence of Chinese enterprises or have its production destined for China through the advance sale, including several fields in Yasuní. In this country, the oil operations in favor of Chinese companies and capital have
resulted in negative consequences for the environment and local populations.
