Lusophone Africa won unprecedented relevance to the Brazilian foreign policy with the Lula Government. The new project with an emphasis on the “South-South” relations is followed by an economic project, which articulates the interests of large business groups with the transfer of Brazilian public policies for these countries. This article seeks to systematize, still in exploratory character, the field research carried out in Angola and Mozambique, which mapped the Brazilian insertion in terms of financing, investment and cooperation in both countries.
