We present the first conclusions of a research with wives of former employees of the state oil company YPF in Caleta Olivia and Cañadón Seco, between 1944 and 1992, about the representations of the State and the Nation. The article seeks to contribute to a better understanding, in terms of gender, of the state self legitimacy system.
