Reflections on the MER5COSUL Parlament

The Mercosur Parliament was created to be the place that represents the people and to foment South American citizenship. After presenting Mercosur trajectory, this paper addresses the Parlasur’s characteristics and activities between 2007 and 2014. Finally, it outlines some obstacles to completing its operation.
