Created in the second decade
of the 21st century, Agenda 2063 is directed to African development and international engagement. The work analyses its main characteristics, based on the division of its goals as symbolic or objective, as well
as the aspirations and advancements of this initiative, in addition to identifying potential challenges. Based on academic
works and official documents, especially from the African Union, it is expected to demonstrate that, despite its limited results, the initiative is promising in
terms of possible transformations on the continental level.
