The article discusses the right to education for women in Islamic communities and their expression of universality in the human rights’ field.
The data is the product of a qualitative research (bibliographical, documentary and field), from 2017. The results pointed to the presence of economicpolitical-
cultural-religious factors as impediments and/or favoring the right to education, in addition to circumstances of war/endangered territories, socioeconomic condition and/or social/religious rules still ingrined.
