Transformation of the perception of menstruation between generations

The present article aims to reflect on the spheres of the taboo about menstruation. In a netnography, we interviewed women with the purpose of understanding their history and experiences with the menstruation. By evaluating how the perception and the practice of the menstrual cycle takes different places between generation, in parallel with Robert Hertz ideias about the profane, we realized that, even with changes, some stigmas still remain.
