Abstract

This research problematizes the conceptions of gender and nature, linking ecofeminism(s) to agroecology and food sovereignty. Agri-food systems led by women give concreteness to a social
project aimed at food sovereignty and
stimulate new relationships between
human beings and nature, lifestyles,
and consumption, which come to be
thought of in an integrated way.

 Professora na área de Saúde Pública do Departamento de Nutrição e colaboradora no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Sociologia na UFPR. Possui mestrado e doutorado em Sociologia pela UFPR e cotutela de tese no Laboratoire d´ethnologie et de sociologie comparative, Université Paris Ouest Nanterre.

Islandia Bezerra, Universidade Federal do Paraná

Professora vinculada ao Departamento de Nutrição e ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Sociologia/PGSOCIO da UFPR. Atua como Educadora voluntária na Escola Latino Americana de Agroecologia/ELAA. Possui especialização em Saúde Coletiva. Mestrado e Doutorado em Ciências Sociais/PPGCS-UFRN. Pós-doutorado em Ciências e Desenvolvimento Regional na Universidade Autónoma de Chapingo/UACh - México
