This article undertakes an analysis of Critical Theory from its renewals, exposing how the "decolonial" turn contributed to this process. It is an effort to recognize the dialogue between Critical Theory and decolonial thinking, observing the latter's ability both to expose the Eurocentric aspects of Critical Theory and to broaden its scope by focusing mainly on the criticism offered by Walter Mignolo.
