This paper explores the notion of democracy hacked and its manifestations in the last Brazilian elections. From a brief history of the expression and the steps to its conceptual foundation, explores the idea that hacking has become a constitutive element in politics and the hacked democracy as the condition of contemporary politics. The analysis is enriched trough a methodological use of the History of Political Ideas. We ask: Is it possible to have legitimate governs in such context?
