This article analyses the rise of the industrial bourgeoisie in the north of England during the industrial revolution, highlighting its political and economic hegemony. It explores how the accumulation of wealth and liberal policies mitigated class conflicts, consolidating a new historical bloc. Adopting structuralist and Marxist perspectives, the study examines the transformation of the British state and the formation of a domestic and international hegemonic order.
