Contributions to the democratic theory of the “Comuna Group” (1999-2011), formed by Bolivian intellectuals, are discussed. Produced in the underground of “official” political thought, in a context of political effervescence, and from a country with characteristics of coloniality and pluralism, these reflexions contribute to t on the conditions of democracy in colonized countries, but can also present important insight for thinking about ways to overcome the contemporary crisis of democracy in the world.
