The aim of this article is to present Victoria Santa Cruz’s contributions to Latin American and Caribbean social theory, especially in her approach to the racial question, racism and the paths of the anti-racist struggle from the point of view of aesthetics and art. Through a black aesthetic, the poet denounces racism, while at the same time unveiling the onto-epistemic bases of recognition of black existences from an anti-racist and decolonizing perspective.
