Abstract

In light of the Hamas attacks on October 7th and the consequences of Israeli military actions in Gaza, we conducted interviews with researchers in the area of International Relations and the Middle East, Ilan Pappé, Trita Parsi and Stephen Walt, about the historical context, regional and international situation and possible scenarios arising from the war. The interviews were divided into: international situation; Middle East regional policy; US-Israel relations; and international developments.

PhD student at the San Tiago Dantas Graduate Program in International Relations (UNESP/UNICAMP/PUC-SP). Master's in Strategic Studies from the Institute for Strategic Defense and Security Studies (INEST/UFF). He conducts research in the areas of Security and International Relations; Security in the Global South; Middle East; Non-State Armed Organizations; Hezbollah; Terrorism and Counterterrorism.
