Abstract

As an essay, it is argued that the treatment given to immigrants is related to the current crises of democracy. The strategies of Hungary during the 2015 immigration crisis are analyzed. The corpus encompasses 20 articles; 6 books; 4 book chapters, and 2 dissertations. It highlights the connection between the disregard for human rights and the attack on immigrants, providing data for the relationship between immigrations policies and democratic erosion to be verified.
