Contributions of Comte and Martineau to the foundation of Sociology

This article discusses the extent to which Auguste Comte and Harriet Martineau contributed to the founding process of Sociology. To this end, it uses exploratory bibliographic and theoretical-conceptual research. It proposes a review of the assumptions that structure the history of this science regarding how its genesis occurred, in addition to contributing to rethinking the periodization available on its development, its relationship with Social Science, the science of Society and the Social Sciences.
