Abstract

The pedagogue, psychologist, philosopher, professor John Dewey has a great discussion about the formation of the individual, education, curriculum, logic, psychology and pedagogy, but he is best known for his writings in the area of ​​education. Supported by the bibliographic dimension, this text describes aspects of the literature of the philosopher in question, with the aim of displaying some aspects of Dewey's training, education and knowledge, reflecting how John Dewey's ideas are present in contemporary times. In short, texts of this nature are important because they bring singularities worked on, discussed, by the aforementioned philosopher, as well as scenarios experienced by Dewey, which are recorded and archived in physical and virtual libraries, helping us in the dialogue today.
