Notas sobre a Filosofia na Educação Básica sob a perspectiva das Leis 10.639/2003 E 11.645/2008:
Por uma experiência conceitual antirracista e antietnocida do pensamento
Abstract
This article addresses the relevance of teaching Philosophy in light of laws 10.639/2003 and 11.645/2008 in the Brazilian educational context. Initially, the emergence of these legislations is contextualized, highlighting their purpose of confronting racial prejudice and promoting a more just and equitable society. The intersection between the teaching of Philosophy in high school and African, Afro-Brazilian and indigenous Philosophies is then explored, highlighting the importance of expanding students' philosophical repertoire. Challenges also arise in implementing these laws, especially regarding teacher training and curriculum. Virtual resources and works, such as books by Renato Nogueira and Sandra Petit, are suggested as valuable tools for educators. Furthermore, the recent ANPOF initiative stands out, which, through events, promoted reflections on historically neglected themes in Philosophy. This article aims to instigate reflection on education and Philosophy as instruments in the fight against structural racism in Brazilian society.
