CONSIDERATIONS ON THE CONCEPT OFPHENOMENOTECHNIQUE -
SCIENCE AND OBJECTIVE KNOWLEDGE IN GASTON BACHELARD
Abstract
: Our aim in this work is mainly to announce the importance of carrying out an examination of the notion of phénoménotechnique for a more acute understanding of Gaston Bachelard’s (1884-1962) epistemology. Through an investigation of this term, we shed light on some of Bachelard's hypotheses about science and objective knowledge. The idea of a phénoménotechnique accompanies Bachelard from his first writings and reveals the core of his historical epistemology, that is, the constructed character of reality, which is forged by a plural science developed in a relationship of mutual instruction between scientist and scientific object.
