Abstract

This text constitutes a posthumous tribute to the researcher Eloísa da Conceição Príncipe de Oliveira, who held the position of Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). The text also presents a number of highlights of her career, contributions and legacy to the fields of Library and Information Science, with particular reference to the field of Scientific Communication and Open Science.

  • Juliana Soares Lima, Universidade Federal do Ceará

    Master in Information Science and Bachelor in Library Science from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). Specialist in Innovation in Information Units from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCAR). Librarian at the Federal University of Ceará. Associate Editor of the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). Member of the Competence and Communication in Information Environments Research Group. Member of the Research Group Studies and Practices in Digital Preservation of the Brazilian Network of Digital Preservation Services Cariniana (Research Data Preservation Study Group). Member of the Brazilian Citizen Science Network (RBCC).
