O feminismo republicano de John Stuart Mill

Este artigo sustenta que o compromisso com a igualdade de gênero e a percepção aguda da subordinação das mulheres ao patriarcado levaram John Stuart Mill a elaborar uma concepção de liberdade tributária do republicanismo. Para justificar a tese de que o conceito de liberdade exposto em A sujeição das mulheres trilharia uma via comum entre feminismo e republicanismo, destacam-se quatro semelhanças entre a filosofia política de Mill e a liberdade republicana.
