The history of the space shows the transformation of the space’s conceptions throughout temporality. The Escola Superior de Guerra (ESG) served as a producer and disseminator of strategic space’s conceptions, using cartographic projections about Brazilian’s geopolitical spatiality present in the Golbery do Couto e Silva handouts. Through these mappings it’s possible to observe the influence by Jaime Cortesão’s lectures at the Ministry of Foreign Relations, during the decade of 1940. These fabrications caused a deep influence in the productions over the Brazilian spatiality. Therefore, it’s possible to establish a continuity link in Brazilian geopolitical fabrication between the cartography of Jaime Cortesão and the writings of Golbery do Couto e Silva, in the 1950s.
