Keywords:
Body, Gender, ViolenceAbstract
This article aims to analyze the relations between the body, gender and violence in Mallet-PR's criminal processes in the 1930s and 1940s. A focus of Slav immigration since the late nineteenth century, the Mallet municipality of Parana has gradually increased crimes in the first half of the 20th century. In the midst of the juridical narratives of homicides and physical aggressions, we tried to emphasize that the dynamics between the body, the gender and the violence presented particularities in the malletense rural context implying in social practices, behaviors and institutional mechanisms.
