PERFORMATIVITY, STRENGTH AND (DES) CONSTRUCTION OF IDENTITIES IN LA MALA EDUCACIÓN BY PEDRO ALMODÓVAR
Keywords:
Performativity, Rostidade, Identitys.Abstract
This article aims analyzing, in the light of the concepts of gender performativity of the philosopher Judith Butler and rostidade of the philosopher Gilles Deleuze, how it is possible to deconstruct and to intend the mechanisms that regulate the relations of the subjects with their bodies, sexuality and genres , whereas these are the founding elements of the identity logic that constructs the model of the universal subject that is constituted in Western rationalist modernity and reaches an expressive echo in the field of historiography. In this sense, it is fundamental to critique the concept of identity of the modern subject in the contemporary, since this crystallized notion of identity coherence justified historical oppression in relations to subjects that do not fit into the norm. When we consider audiovisual media as discourses that construct representations of sex and gender and are products of events, we understand that Pedro Almodóvar's analysis of the film La Mala Educacion (2004) directs us to think that other modes of existences are possible, as well as what types of representations of sex, gender and bodies are hegemonically transmitted and which are relegated to marginality.
